Kristi Murphey
Licensed Professional Counselor
Kristi Murphey is a licensed professional counselor in Amarillo, Texas. She grew up in the Texas Panhandle and has a passion for serving the people of Amarillo and the surrounding areas. She is an individual, marital, and family therapist who specializes in identity and self-worth issues, affair recovery, and situational life issues that are difficult to navigate. She has extensive experience working with survivors of suicide, the grief process, and forgiveness issues. She also has experience co-leading marriage intensives at the Hideaway Experience in Amarillo. Kristi is certified, Level II, in Restoration Therapy and assists individuals and couples to gain clear insight and perspective regarding their identities, the root of issues, and unhealthy coping patterns that create conflict within relationships. She provides intervention techniques and strategies to help individuals and couples move into responsible change and relationships.
Kristi earned a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1992 and an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2011. She enjoys quality time with her family, Bible study, pickleball with friends, and participating in various ministries and volunteer opportunities within her church and community.
